While everything fades, the face of your Lord remains, full of majesty and generosity. Human beings crave recognition. We need to be seen, acknowledged, praised. Allah does not. His glory does not increase with praise, nor diminish without it.

Then comes a profound shift.

Everyone in the heavens and the earth is asking Him. Not only through prayer, but through existence itself. Every breath, every heartbeat, every movement is dependent. Even those who deny Him are sustained by Him moment after moment.

And while we imagine independence, Allah describes a reality far more intricate: at every moment, He is engaged in works only He can execute. Decisions interconnected beyond what we can see. Mercy, wisdom, justice, operating simultaneously across all creation.

This episode exposes the illusion of self-sufficiency and reframes our place in a world where every living thing is constantly in need.

The one perennial truth of all of mankind is that you will die and so will everyone else. This has been true since the beginning of time and will be till the end, death is the one universal inescapable commonality. Rich or poor, genius or dumb, everyone will parish. The Quran tells the Muslim this exact message, “Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction.” (4:78). We go through our daily life and do not think about it. But others, keep this thought at the forefront. Some people may say that’s very morbid or that it’s not good for mental well-being. I would disagree, it depends on how you utilize the thought, it may be counter intuitive but thinking about your mortality can be used as a tool, mental jiu jitsu of sorts. The thought of your death can give you strength and clarity, it will keep you concentrated on what’s truly important and allows you to detach yourself from the trivial fluctuations of day to day life we trap ourselves in. It is a very powerful concept if understood deeply. “Bear in mind that the present life is just a game, a diversion, an attraction, a cause of boasting among you, of rivalry in wealth and children. It is like plants that spring up after the rain: their growth at first delights the sowers, but then you see them wither away, turn yellow, and become stubble. There is terrible punishment in the next life as well as forgiveness and approval from God; the life of this world is only an illusory pleasure.” (57:20).

Landing Site Of Noah’s Ark, Judi Or Ararat?:
According to the explicit text of the Quran in Surah Hud, verse 44, the Ark of Prophet Nuh (Noah) ‘came to rest on al-Judi’, a decisive event marking the conclusion of the great flood. This Quranic declaration establishes a specific geographical anchor for the Ark’s final landing. Classical commentators like Al-Tabari identify al-Judi as a known mountain in the region of Mesopotamia (Al-Jazirah), near modern-day Mosul. Tafsir Ibn Kathir elaborates on its significance, explaining that the Ark’s resting was a fulfilment of Allah’s decree and that the mountain itself was preserved as a sign and a lesson for future generations. This event symbolizes the ultimate safety granted to the believers after a period of immense trial, representing the triumph of divine mercy and the beginning of a new chapter for humanity. The ninth century Persian geographer Ibn Khordadbeh identified the location of mount Judi as being in the land of Kurds (Al-Akrad), and the Abbasid historian Al-Mas’udi recorded that the spot where it came to rest could be seen in his time. Al-Mas’udi also said that the Ark began its voyage at Kufa in central Iraq, and sailed to Makkah, where it circled the Ka’abh, before finally travelling to Judi. Yaqut al-Hamawi, also known as Al-Rumi, placed the mountain “above Jazirat ibn Umar, to the east of the Tigris,” and mentioned a mosque built by Nuh (A) that could be seen in his day, and the traveller Ibn Battuta passed by the mountain in the 14th century.
