In the first five ayat of Surah Al-Inshiqaq Allah paints one of the most powerful pictures of nature in the entire Quran. Ustadh Nouman explains in depth the scene on the Day of Judgment when the sky tears open and the earth can no longer bear the burden of everything inside it. The idea that nature is this wild beast that Allah has held back is a recurring theme in the Quran and here, Allah describes how nature will react once He it hears Allah’s permission.
