Rulings regarding the Eid prayer – Dr Zakir Naik

Answer By Dr Zakir Naik,As far as the ruling is concerned about the Salaah of Eid-ul-Fitr, there are difference of opinion amongst he scholars and the difference schools of thought, according to Imam Shafi and Imam Malik, the Shafis and the Malakis, they say that the Eid Salaah is a Sunnat-e-Muakada, it is a very important Sunnah known as Mustahab based on the Hadith that there was a Bedouin who comes and says that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) has not made compulsory any Salaah other than the 5 prescribed Salaah which is mentioned in Mughni Vol. no. 2 Page no. 223,So based on this Hadith that no other, salaah is compulsory besides the 5 times prescribed Salaah.
