Raml – Walking Quickly in the First 3 Rounds of Tawaaf
Narrated Ibn Abbaas (ra): “When Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) and his Companions came to Makkah, the Mushrikoon circulated the news that a group of people were coming to them that had been weakened by the fever of Yathrib (Madinah). So the Prophet (pbuh) ordered his Companions to do Raml (walking quickly) in the first three rounds of Tawaaf of the Ka’bah.”
