We think taqwa is between us and Allah. Prayer, fasting, worship, purely spiritual.
But these ayat flip that understanding completely.
Making peace between believers is taqwa. Fixing your relationships is taqwa. How you treat people around you is how you show your fear and consciousness of Allah.
And there’s a warning too, even when your intentions are good, the ends don’t justify the means. Don’t cross lines in the name of doing good.
Taqwa isn’t just what happens on your prayer mat. It shows up in how you deal with people.
