“At Least I Said It to Your Face”

We think honesty is a virtue. And it is. But calling someone out on their flaws, to their face, isn’t honesty. It’s humiliation.

Ayesha (RA) once made a small gesture about another person’s appearance. Just a gesture. No words.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “You have contaminated your words with it. If that word was thrown into the ocean, the entire ocean would be contaminated.”

One small gesture. One mocking look. And it poisons everything.

Watch your words. Watch your gestures. Watch your eyes.
