When your brother says something, take it at face value. When your sister greets you, don’t decode it.

We’ve become so paranoid that we turn a simple “how are you?” into a hidden message. We read between lines that don’t exist. We build entire stories in our heads from words that meant nothing.

A believer thinks good of his fellow believer. Full stop.

He said what he said. He meant what he meant. Let it go.
