This was one of the tactics of the munafiqun in Madinah. They would sit in the same masjid, hear the same message and then stay behind to create doubt, drama and division. Their goal was not always to openly attack Islam. Sometimes the goal was to drain the energy of sincere believers and make them feel sad, burnt out and demotivated.
And this problem did not disappear. It shows up in workplaces, masjid boards, Dawah organizations, friend groups and even families. The Quran teaches us that every community needs internal cleaning, not just outward Dawah. If the house is dirty on the inside, bringing more people in will not fix the problem. The solution is to recognize Najwa, stop feeding it and return to the Quran’s detox for the community.
