Some religious traditions describe the mistake of Adam (AS) as a burden carried by all of humanity, a sin so severe that no human being can recover from it alone.
Islam gives us a very different understanding. Human beings are not born guilty or broken beyond repair. A mistake does not mean that the door to Allah is closed.
The story of Adam (AS) teaches us about personal responsibility, repentance, mercy and the ability to return to Allah after failure. Sin is serious, but Allah has not left us without hope or a path back.
