Even when no one else sees your mistake, Allah sees it and deep inside, you know what happened too.
The story of Adam and Hawwa (AS) teaches us that shame is not only about other people discovering our sins. Allah placed a fitrah within the human being that recognizes when we have lowered ourselves or crossed a boundary.
That inner discomfort is not meant to destroy us. It can be a mercy from Allah, a warning that wakes us up, makes us reflect and encourages us to return.
