Sin can appear attractive in the moment. It may promise pleasure, excitement, escape or temporary relief. But when that feeling wears off, the consequences begin to appear.
Allah created human beings with a fitrah that cannot remain at peace with spiritual poison. Addiction, gambling, uncontrolled anger and other destructive habits may offer a temporary high, but they often leave behind regret, fear, shame and lasting damage.
The guidance of the Quran protects us from choices that may feel good for a moment but wound the soul afterward.
