It is easy to speak against injustice when the wrongdoer is an enemy. The harder test comes when injustice is happening inside your own family.
You may condemn lies in public but remain silent when a relative tells a false story. You may protest injustice in society but ignore unfairness happening between your own parents, siblings or relatives.
The Quran calls us to keep standing for justice again and again. Big issue or small issue. Friend or enemy. Family or stranger.
Justice cannot become “family first” when the truth becomes uncomfortable.
