Zayd ibn Thabit (R), revered as the “Ink of the Ummah,” was the intellectual anchor of early Islam whose pen permanently safeguarded the divine revelation. Entrusted by the Prophet Muhammad (S) as his primary scribe due to his brilliant intellect and mastery of languages, Zayd was later chosen for the ultimate responsibility: spearheading the monumental compilation of the Holy Quran into a single, unified volume. Standing as a colossus of Islamic jurisprudence and the absolute authority on inheritance laws, he bound the Muslim community together through his meticulous scholarship. His legacy is not merely written in history; it lives on in every single word of the Mushaf read across the world today, making him a true guardian of the faith.
