Surah Al-Hashr gives us a powerful image: if the Quran were placed on a mountain, it would crumble under its weight. A mountain, something immovable, unshakable would collapse. But the Prophet ﷺ carried that weight alone and after him, the responsibility of this Book was spread across the entire Ummah.
Every ideology fades, every movement dies, every trend gets replaced. But the word of Allah stays firm. It doesn’t disappear like previous revelations. It’s heavy, permanent, unshakeable, meant to anchor us while the world keeps changing around us.
This reminder shows us what the Quran truly demands from us and what it means to belong to a community entrusted with something even mountains couldn’t withstand.
