We are all devastated to hear the news of earthquakes that have struck the southern Turkey/Syria region. The death toll is in the thousands and quickly rising. I visited these areas two years ago with READ Foundation on a Syrian refugee school-building project. I found the people of Sanliurfa and Gazientap to be of the most humble and friendly and helpful people, yet here they are now needing our help.
