In a special program recently held at Taksim Mosque in Istanbul Türkiye, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan joins Professor Dr. Halis Aydemir to discuss many topics related to the postmodern world including atheism, theism, secularism and liberalism, and their cultural and religious implications.
What happens when secularism isn’t just an idea in society, but a mindset we carry within ourselves? How do modern ideologies reshape the way Muslims see their faith, their freedom and even their sense of self? And why does Islam continue to stand resilient, even as one “ism” after another rises and falls? This session was more than an academic exchange. It was an honest, urgent reflection on how Muslims can hold on to the Quran’s guidance in a world of shifting identities. Full video coming soon.
