Allah knows what happened in the past, he knows what is happening today and he knows what will be happening in future. Allah (SWT) has given you free hand, he has given you a choice choose bad or good whatever you want. If he forces you to do something then there is no question of reward or punishment. Our guess could be wrong but Allah (SWT) knowledge can never be wrong. And whatever good or bad coming to you could not come to you without the permission of Allah (SWT).
