Shaykh Abdullah Kamil, an iconic voice of the Quran of our era, suddenly passed away in New Jersey, after spending Ramaḍān in leading the people and reciting the whole Quran.
Allah tested him with being visually impaired since birth but gifted him by allowing millions to see and hear the beauty of the Quran with his heart-trembling voice.
I was fortunate to meet him and pray behind him at MCC in New Jersey.
O Allah! Grant the Quran to be an intercessor for him on Judgment Day!
