In this video Dr Israr Ahmed, the founder of TANZEEM-E-ISLAMI, Pakistan telling us that We can call people with their good nick names but calling by offensive names is wrong. Islam doesn’t allow us to make fun of someone. Islam is the religion which is based on every aspect of life. So, it also taught us that we should not call others by bad names.
In Quran Allah says in Surah Hujrat that: “Not call one another with bad nicknames.”
