Backbiting in Islam Explaination. This is a Short Clip of Dr Israr Ahmed English lecture.
In this video Dr Israr Ahmed, the founder of TANZEEM-E-ISLAMI, Pakistan telling us that when someone asked Muhammad (SAW) what is backbiting? Muhammad (SAW) said that “You are mentioning something about your brother which he would dislike”. Now a question was put to Muhammad (SAW) “What you think if that thing is actually present in that brother? Is still this consider backbiting?”. Muhammad (SAW) replied “If it is in him that you are saying but you are saying in his absence to it is backbiting and if that thing not present in him then it is a big crime”. So, if something is wrong in our brother we should tell that in his face. We should have a courage and tell him privately.
