Does he believe in Allah or not? Does he believe in hereafter or not? First of all, you have to take him to faith. If he doesn’t believe in Allah how you can ask him to go to pray.
We don’t know that the education to our youth wash out the minds from faith to Allah (SWT). If he doesn’t believe in Quran then how he can act on Quran. Actually, you have to realize whether he has any faith or not? If he has faith in his mind then the attitude will change. If the thinking and the soul will be purified then the actions will also be purified. Now if you don’t prepare the ground and throwing seeds then you are wasting it.
