Where did water come from — and why is it so central to life? ???? Modern science traces water to cosmic origins, describing how it formed in the earliest stages of the universe. Yet, centuries ago, the Qur’an reminded us: “We made from water every living thing” (21:30).
In this session, we reflect on the scientific and Qur’anic perspectives of water’s origin and its role as the foundation of life. Beyond biology, water is also a spiritual symbol of purity, mercy, and renewal — linking back to the transformative process described in the Four Compartment framework of Surah Al-Jumu’ah.
✨ Water is not just a resource, but an ayah (sign) of Allah’s power and wisdom — calling us to reflect on our dependence on Him.
