In today’s Khutbah, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan reflects on a powerful Ayah from Surah Al-Kahf: **“And never say of anything, ‘Indeed, I will do that tomorrow,’ except [when adding], ‘If Allah wills.’ And remember your Lord when you forget and say, ‘Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct’” (18:23–24).

We live in a culture obsessed with results, grades, degrees, milestones, achievements. Yet the Quran redefines success as consistent growth, step by step, guided by Allah’s will. Progress is the real goal, not perfection.

Your past, whether stronger or weaker, does not define you. What matters is the step you take *from where you are right now*. Every day Allah grants us life again is a chance to move closer, even if only by one step.
