Public religious debates that fuel hostility over minor, abstract issues do more harm than good. When disagreements rooted in tradition become public spectacles, they fracture unity instead of nurturing understanding. Serious discussions belong in private spaces, while public spaces should preserve brotherhood, shared worship, and focus on the far greater challenges facing the ummah.
