Respecting the Rights of Minorities in Muslim Countries – Mufti Menk

This is a short clip of a powerful message delivered by Mufti Menk in 2018 to His Excellency Adama Barrow, the President of the Gambia, which is predominantly Muslim (95%+) about the importance of protecting the rights of minorities. He says a country is judged by how it treats its minorities.

Mufti Menk went on to deliver a public talk at the National Stadium in the Gambia entitled, “Respecting Differences”.

I pray that leaders of other religious denominations who are in a majority in their countries can call on their political leaders in a similar way.
