The Quran is very serious and absolute in its declaration that innocent people and civilians, of any kind, can never be harmed.

1. BismilLaahi, tawakkaltu ‘alalLaahi, Allaahumma innee a’oozhu bika an adhilla aw udhalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw azhlima aw uzhlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala ‘alayya

In the Name of Allah, I’ve relied upon Allah! Oh Allah I for sure seek your refuge from getting lost or being misled, from slipping and being made to slip, from doing wrong and being wronged, from acting ignorantly and being treated ignorantly.

2. BismilLaahi, tawakkaltu ‘alalLaahi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa bilLaah

In the Name of Allah, I’ve relied upon Allah, and no power or authority exists except with Allah alone.

3. Allaahumma antas-saahibu fis-safari, wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allaahumma innee a’oozhu bika min wa’thaa’is-safari, wa ka’aabbatil-manzhari, wa soo’il-munqalabi fil-maali wal-ahli wal-waladi

Oh Allah You are the true Companion during travel and the One left behind to look after the family. Oh Allah I for sure seek your refuge from the exhaustion and trouble that comes with travel, from having to witness terrible things, and from coming back home and something bad may have happened to wealth, family, and children.
