A tragedy of this era of “social media influencers” is that we’ve begun outsourcing our intellect, thoughts, emotions, and rational thinking to the people we follow online. We take their words at face value and get trapped in echo chambers that convince us “we’re right” and “they’re wrong.”
If our watch history is only filled with endless TikToks from the latest angry “dawah bro” which form the foundation of our Islamic thought, then we have much work to do.
