In Episode 20 of Life of the Final Messenger ﷺ, we explore the events of the Battle of al-Ahzab, also known as the Battle of the Trench.
As the enemies of Islam gathered together in a massive coalition, Madinah faced one of the greatest threats in its history. The Muslims prepared to defend their city against overwhelming forces.
At this critical moment, Salman Al-Farsi suggested a strategy unfamiliar to the Arabs digging a trench around the vulnerable parts of Madinah. The Muslims worked tirelessly to complete it before the enemy arrived.
When the coalition army reached Madinah, they were shocked by the trench and unable to cross it, leading to a prolonged siege.
During this difficult time, the betrayal of Banu Qurayzah created further tension inside the city. Yet through patience, unity, and trust in Allah, the believers endured one of the most testing moments in early Islamic history.
