Since its inception, the Global Peace & Unity Festival continues to draw a multi-ethnic crowd, reaching over 50,000 attendees in 2008 and over 100,000 attendees in 2010, featuring some of the best scholars, thinkers, leaders and celebrities.
The appeal of GPU is its continual quest to create a meaningful place for dialogue. Over the course of one weekend, the breadth of activities organised demonstrates the demographic diversity attracted to the Festival: an eagerly anticipated international line-up of speakers who provide valuable insights on a variety of subjects; informative seminars and interactive workshops giving visitors the opportunity to share ideas and help forge a new spirit of co-operation and understanding; an Exhibition Hall featuring hundreds of stalls, Funfair, Sports & Adventure Zone that brings excitement and fun to thousands of children and equally challenging activities for adults.
