Giving someone a dictionary who cannot read English is not really a gift. Not because the book has no value but because they do not have the instructions to benefit from it.
In the same way Allah created the human being and then gave us the ultimate instruction manual. The Quran. Not to benefit Allah but to protect us. It keeps human beings out of harm and keeps us inside the rahma of Allah in this life and the next.
If we treat the Quran like background noise we will keep making life harder than it needs to be. But when we return to it as guidance we start living the way we were designed to live.
