While Makkah remains hostile, hearts in Yathrib are quietly preparing for change. The message of Islam has already taken root there — and now a delegation arrives under the cover of night.
Seventy-three men and two women meet the Prophet ﷺ in secrecy at ʿAqabah. Al-ʿAbbas gives a stern warning: if you take him, you must protect him.
They choose twelve leaders. They pledge loyalty. And just as Quraysh footsteps draw near, the covenant is sealed.
Madinah is promised — a land of palm trees and protection. The Hijrah is no longer distant. It is coming.
