We treat the Quran like it exists to answer our curiosity. Tell me what it says about this and that. As if we’ll listen only after we’re impressed.
But the Quran flips the entire mindset. Allah is the One asking the questions. He made you and He is giving you purpose by how He questions you. When we forget that guidance is not entertainment we start thinking we are the judge and the Quran is the product. And that is exactly why Allah gave the Quran in the first place. Because the human being can go to dark places when guidance is treated like an option.
