Dr. Zakir: The things on which Zakaat has to be paid which is binding on a Muslim which becomes obligatory on a Muslim.
No. 1 it is gold, but natural it should reach the Nisaab level then it becomes compulsory
No. 1 is gold
No. 2 is silver
No. 3 is Jewelry and ornaments which contain gold and silver
No. 4 is farm products
No. 5 is the cattle
No. 6 is merchandise and goods of trade
No. 7 is business activities
No. 8 is money or you can say currency notes
And the 9th thing on which Zakaat is compulsory is the stock in trade
These are the nine types of categories of things on which Zakaat is compulsory and binding
