Histroy of Selected Course of Quran. This is a Short Clip of Dr Israr Ahmed English lecture.
In this video Dr Israr Ahmed, the founder of TANZEEM-E-ISLAMI, Pakistan telling us about the selected course. He said we are not reading Quran from the beginning in a sequence. When I was very young only 19 years of age, I was studying the 3rd year of MBBS course in King Edward Medical College Lahore. I was an elective member of Islami Jamiat Talba. I was elected as an organizer of provinicial chapter of Punjab. In December 1951, I organized the trainee camps of Jamiat. Maulana amin ahsan islahi selected five or six places from Quran. And that was a beginning of selected course of study.
