As Ustadh continues to explain the Arabic idioms, the next one is ‘‘bowing down the wings’’ and how it is used before and in the Quran. In 17:24 Allah uses this idiom as to lower your wings for your parents just like they provided protection for you when you were just a child and fulfilled your every need. Modification in the idiom is discussed. In 26:125 the Qur’an uses this idiom to address the Prophet ﷺ to lower his wings for the believers for their protection as well as a gesture of kindness. In the end Ustadh advised us to be gentle and kind to all of humanity.
استاد نے اگلا محاورہ ‘اپنے پر بچھا دو’ کی تفصیل بیان کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ کس طرح یہ محاورہ قرآن اور اس سے پہلے استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ 17:24 میں قرآن نے یہ محاورہ استعمال کرتے ہوئے حکم دیا ہے کہ اپنے والدین کے سامنے اپنے پر جھکا دو جیسے انہوں نے بچپن میں تمہاری ہر ضرورت پوری کرتے ہوئے تمہاری پرورش کی تھی۔ قرآن نے اس محاورے میں لفظ ‘الذّل’ کا اضافہ کیا ہے کہ اپنے پروں کو کمزوری کے ساتھ جھکاؤ۔ دوسری جگہ اللہ نے قرآن میں 26:125 پہ یہ محاورہ استعمال کرتے ہوئے نبی ﷺ کو حکم دیا ہے کہ مؤمنین کے لئے اپنے پر جھکا دیں۔ آخر میں استاد نے ہمیں ہر انسان کے ساتھ نرمی اور شفقت سے پیش آنے کی تلقین کی ہے
