The 1st idiom that Ustadh discusses ‘let my tongue un-tie’ is the dua of Prophet Moses (May Peace be on him). A dua to help us in times of nervousness. The 2nd idiom explained by Ustadh is about a superstition that was found in the people who performed Hajj before Islam. Allah highlights, by using this idiom, to do everything by the book. The next idiom is ‘throwing pebbles in the dark’. Ustadh explained how this was applicable in the past and how can we benefit from it today. Ustadh encourages us not to ask useless questions. Last but not the least Ustadh explains the idiom used to describe the stubbornness of the non-believers and how Allah returned the favor to them.
پہلا محاورہ استاد نے حضرت موسیٰ ؑکی دعا “زبان کی گرہ کھولنا” کے بارے میں بات کی ہے جو گھبراہٹ میں ہمارا حوصلہ بڑھاتی ہے۔ دوسرا محاورہ استاد نے ان لوگوں کے اوہام پر بیان کیا ہے جو زمانہِ جاہلیت میں حج کی نیّت سے گھر سے نکلتے اور کچھ بھولنے کی صورت میں واپس سامنے کے دروازے سے گھر جانے کو بد شگونی سمجھتے تھے، اللہ نے یہ محاورہ استعمال کر کے ہمیں یہ نصیحت کی ہے کہ جو بھی کام کیا جائے سیدھے اور صحیح راستے سے کیا جائے۔ اگلے محاورے “اندھیرے میں کنکریاں پھینکنا” کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے استاد نے ہمیں یہ درس دیا ہے کہ فضول سوالات سے پرہیز کرنا چاہیے۔ آخر میں استاد نے کفّار کے ضدّی پن کے بارے میں استعمال ہونے والا محاورہ اور اللہ کا ان کفّار کے فیصلے کے رد عمل میں کیا جانے والا فیصلہ بیان کیا ہے
