What does it mean to truly hold onto what Allah has given you? When the mountain shattered at the manifestation of Allah, that same weight, Allah tells Musa (AS), now rests in His words and messages. Then the Ayah speaks directly: “[Allah] said, ‘O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My words. So take what I have given you and be among the grateful.’” (7:144). The lesson for every Muslim reading the Quran is built right into that address.
