One angry post can become much bigger than the person it was aimed at.
Publicly attacking someone without proper procedure does not only damage their reputation. It can affect their children, their parents, their marriage and people who had nothing to do with the original conflict.
Then something even more dangerous happens. Other people see that humiliation getting attention and learn from it. What began as personal anger becomes a strategy. A strategy becomes engagement. Engagement becomes money. And eventually public shaming turns into a culture people imitate because it works.
Social media does not let these words disappear. They become an archive that can keep producing harm long after the anger that created them is gone.
The Quran teaches us to take evil seriously because once we normalize spreading it, we may no longer control how far it travels.
