Throughout my years of studying the Quran, I am grateful to have come across some remarkable individuals who have opened the doors for me to understand the Quran in new ways, and allowed me to take advantage of their incredible work which I then aim to present to all of you through my classes and lectures.
Dr. Saqib Hussain is one such person. I benefited greatly from his pioneering study on the concept of hikmah (wisdom) in the Quran, and used it as a source of inspiration to deliver a new short series for you all which we’ll be releasing over these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
I had the pleasure of discussing Dr. Saqib’s thesis ‘Wisdom in the Quran’ with him in Manchester.
